New York Gov. Kathy Hochul met with Democratic lawmakers from Texas after they left their state to protest and prevent a legislative session on congressional redistricting. Hochul criticized Republicans as “law breaking cowboys” and said she would work with her counterparts in New York to begin the process of redistricting in her own state.
