President Trump said he would host the 2025 Kennedy Center Honors, after his chief of staff Susie Wiles insisted. The prestigious honors were established in 1978 and have been awarded to recipients who have exhibited excellence in the performing arts. Trump announced this year’s honorees as George Strait, Michael Crawford, Sylvester Stallone, Gloria Gaynor and the band Kiss.
